Welcome to Rogue Retrievers. My name is Adrienne Hardin, and I specialize in AKC Hunt Test training for competition as well as gun dog training for water fowl and upland bird hunting. I believe the way to train dogs is to make them successful and confident so they love to train and run field trials. I also believe that owners should have a huge role in training their dogs and encourage owners to train and handle their dogs. I offer many options for retriever training from private lessons or in home training to group classes.
I have been a professional dog trainer for the last 10 years. I started training dogs when I was a kid in 4-H. I then went on to compete in AKC obedience trials as well doing pet therapy. I started training retrievers at a Minoggie Kennels in 2000. For the last three years I have been training on my own. I have titled many dogs in obedience, all AKC Hunt Test levels (Juniors, Seniors, Masters), and trained many great bird hunting dogs.
My dog training and boarding kennel is located in Columbia County which is northwest of Portland Oregon. I offer three comprehensive 30-90+ day dog boarding school programs: Gun Dog Boarding School, AKC Hunt Test Training Boarding School (both specializing in training retrievers) and an all breed Dog Obedience Boarding School. I have public and private training grounds through out the greater Portland metro area and Columbia county. I offer basic obedience training ranging from private lessons to group classes. Retriever Training: I know that owners and dogs are all different so I offer many different training options. My goal is to create a program that not only will fit the retrievers needs but also yours. Whether it is sending your puppy away for puppy head start or training your Master Hunter on your own with a little help from a professional I can help. I offer Hunt Test Training Boarding School and Gun Dog Boarding School as part of my Retriever training services. All Breed Obedience: I offer obedience training for every level and breed of dog. Whether it is socializing your recently adopted shelter dog, teaching your over-excited dog to walk nicely on a lead, or competition obedience, I have a plan for you. Stud Service: Stud services are available to approved females. Standing at stud right now is Knight's Red Rusty MH "Rusty". Rusty is a great marking retriever, nice looking, and excels at the Hunt Test game. Learn more about the retriever breeding program.

Cha Ching the Little Brown Thing
